Coupon Error Message (cups, failed)
Are you getting this message when trying to print your coupons?
/usr/libexec/cups/filter/CouponConvertor_v2 failedI've been frustrated beyond belief lately, unable to print coupons from Coupons.com, Red Plum or Smart Source. Having rebooted, reinstalled, reconfigured, I've still lost valuable coupons due to them counting as being printed, but never actually making it to my printer. It has been driving me insane! But I found a fix. Two, actually.
I print from a Mac. I was able to print easily using Firefox and Safari, but not Chrome. Then Firefox started to putter out on me (after an update), and Safari followed. After googling, I found two ways to work around the issue:
- Use the AOL Desktop. You should be able to print as normal. I have not tried this fix.
- Quit Safari. Go to your Applications folder in Finder > Highlight Safari and right click on it > Choose "Get Info." > You will see the option of "Open in 32-bit mode" - check that. Reopen Safari. Print your coupons. Be happy!
Hope that helps someone else from pulling their hair out. Sure helped me.

Nature Made Coupon 2011
Save $1.00 on any Nature Made product. Walgreens has these on sale B1G1 FREE (select products), plus they have a coupon in their November coupon booklet ($1/1 Nature Made Sleep 30 ct), and there is a Walgreens booklet that was on the shelf when I was there that has $2 off fish oil tablets. Stack with this and the B1G1 and we got a great deal!

Woodman's Savings for the Season 2011
If you see a cart full of Woodman's Markets Savings for the Season (they came out a couple weeks ago), PICK ONE UP. Notice I said "one" - yes, just one. They ask you to take only one, and to be fair, do what is asked. Some of the coupons are Woodmans-only, which you can stack with your manufacture coupons. Some are manufacture coupons that I'm guessing you can use at other merchants to get the best deal.
We went to Woodmans last week and they have a LOT of sales going on. Here's some good ones:
- I used my coupon for (1)-$1.25/3 Bakers Chocolate, Jell-O, Honey Maid Grahams Nilla Wafers or Philadelphia Cream Cheese on the cream cheese which was on sale at Woodmans for somewhere around .79 cents. Less than the off-brand, and the best price I've seen so far this season. I stocked up and used the coupon. This is a staple item around the holidays and simply to smear on bagels. 3 cream cheese @ $.79 each - coupon = $.37 each!
- Midi's Pasta Sauce - on sale for $2.99 - $1/off coupons on jars
- Jones Sausage - $2.99 plus free roll sausage with purchase (peelie on box)
- Jones Sausage 2/$3.00 for patties and links, plus $1.00/peelie on boxes (that makes them $1/box - yay)
- Ray's BBQ sauce 2/$3.00 use $1/coupon from booklet
- Cheerios on sale for $1.99/box (Chocolate and Honey Nut -- tons of Cheerio coupons out there, plus one for $.50/ Honey Nut here)
- Torani has syrup coupons available ($1/off 1 bottle). Woodmans has them on sale for $3.99/bottle. Cheaper than Super Walmart.
- If you have the No Yolk Egg Noodle $.40/1 coupons that were floating around out there, those are on sale for $1.39/each
- The booklet has a Buy 3 Sauce (Ragu), get 1 pasta free
