Marcal Toilet Paper Deal 2011

I've got a LARGE family, that goes through toilet paper like no tomorrow. My husband is a little put off by my stockpiling of paper goods at times, but I'm more put off when there's only one roll of TP in the house and seven butts to wipe. Momma needs her TP.

DEAL: Marcal® Small Steps®100% Recycled Bath Tissue Rolls, 2-Ply, 12/Case for $4.49/case. Normally it is $14.99, you save $4.50, plus get an instant $6.00 savings (you'll see it at checkout). Crazy. If you have coupons you cut for this - check to see if your store carries it and fly on in. (Checked with the Monona store. It is on clearance there for just shy of $10. Must order online. You can have it shipped there for free if you don't meet the free shipping mark online.) If not, buy them online like I did. I bought 10. I'm not sure if I'll tell my husband or not. With free shipping, my box should arrive tomorrow. Woohoo.

If that link doesn't work, just go to Staples.com and look in the right-hand corner for the breakroom deals.

White Could Coupons 2011

There are TWO $1/off White Cloud coupons available. One is for $1/any ONE White Cloud tissue or towel.

I printed off both coupons, but they came out so light (I print with black-only cartridge) that I don't think any retailer will accept them. I really wish the companies offering coupons kept it in mind that many of us print with black ink only.

Paseo Kleenex at Woodmans

Woodman's is the only place in the Madison area that I can find who carries Paseo brand products. For a while there all I purchased was their 6-pack toilet paper. Cheap, good, loved it.

I was excited to see some coupons come through, although I admit I can't remember if they came in the local paper or a paper I picked up while traveling outside of the 608. There was 1 coupon for a 9-pack of toilet paper (useless, since Woodman's doesn't carry that size), and then others for facial tissue. Today, desperate for facial tissue (and a few other things), I made a quick stop at Woodman's. I knew I had coupons for Paseo, and grabbed the 4-pack, which was the best price. Later I dug out my Q, which was for .50/1.

So, I got .50 off of a $3 4-pack of tissue. The BETTER deal would have been to grab individual boxes at .79 each and use a .50/off Q for each one. So, if you happen to have the Paseo Q, which doesn't designate a size or number of boxes - grab the individual ones!
