I thought this was good news:
I'm sure there are people who didn't realize that everything was not included in rewards earnings already, but this is a good change.
However, I won't be visiting the Staples in Monona, Wisconsin for a long, long time. After being "profiled" there as a coupon/rewards scammer (because I shop for my own personal use and for my work) by a cashier and manager, I'd had enough. That was my go-to store since I live close by, but their interrogation was completely out of hand. I had to call a resolution center and have them actually call the store manager TO EXPLAIN THEIR POLICIES TO HER.
If you shop for your personal use, that is fine.
If you shop for your business, that is fine.
If you shop for both and make separate purchases, that is also fine.
As long as you have separate addresses for the business and personal, you're good.
I could go more in depth to explain my dissatisfaction and fury with the people I dealt with at Staples in Monona, but I won't. I will say that the situation was incredibly demeaning, presented poor management by Staples (the store), and enough to keep me out of that particular establishment. Even though it is on my way, easy, and local, I will no longer shop there.
