Would you believe it if I told you I got all of this for less than $15? I hadn't really planned on shopping, honestly, but the deals were good. Too good.
Some of my loot isn't even pictures. Like the other Snicker's bar, pack of gum, suckers (fillers, kids ate them), another deodorant (Right Guard), another bottle of wine, toothpaste, toothbrushes...
The Register Rewards were a'plenty this Thanksgiving weekend. It almost was like summer, where I was able to stock up on all kinds of things for a very good price. These were the things we needed, and could use for stocking stuffers. They had other good deals that were FREE with Register Rewards, but I just didn't need them. So I didn't get them. Had I had more energy I probably would have picked up even more, but shopping can truly be exhausting.
My last stop at Walgreens was this evening at the Walgreens in Middleton (Branch St.). There was a young lady at the cosmetics desk who was catering to two couponing fruitcakes (myself and another lady), and was doing so with much grace. I checked out, the next lady checked out, and again; again. Then another person cashinged in on some good deals. Another. Back to me. She did it with a smile, suggested helpful scenarios and never rolled her eyes, looked distressed or seemed irritated with any of it.
Normally I have to remind myself that my immediate embarrassment and shame pays off in a good deal for my family, but not this stop. It was a nice change. I thanked her a number of times.
Hope everyone else found some good deals this weekend. I hope Walgreens keeps up with the good 'Rewards.
