Are you getting this message when trying to print your coupons?
/usr/libexec/cups/filter/CouponConvertor_v2 failedI've been frustrated beyond belief lately, unable to print coupons from Coupons.com, Red Plum or Smart Source. Having rebooted, reinstalled, reconfigured, I've still lost valuable coupons due to them counting as being printed, but never actually making it to my printer. It has been driving me insane! But I found a fix. Two, actually.
I print from a Mac. I was able to print easily using Firefox and Safari, but not Chrome. Then Firefox started to putter out on me (after an update), and Safari followed. After googling, I found two ways to work around the issue:
- Use the AOL Desktop. You should be able to print as normal. I have not tried this fix.
- Quit Safari. Go to your Applications folder in Finder > Highlight Safari and right click on it > Choose "Get Info." > You will see the option of "Open in 32-bit mode" - check that. Reopen Safari. Print your coupons. Be happy!
Hope that helps someone else from pulling their hair out. Sure helped me.
I don't see that option. I have Open In Rosetta and Locked (which isn't highlighted). I want to jump off a balcony.

ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU!!!!! I have been trying for months to get this fixed. I even contacted coupons.com and was not able to get a resolution! This was so easy & I am now printing away!
ReplyDeleteFANTASTIC, Kiera. Glad it worked for someone else. I was so frustrated, and then ecstatic to find a fix.
ReplyDeleteThanks SO much! My "Open 32 Bit" was checked, and so was "Open in Rosetta", so I unchecked both and it still didn't work. But then I closed Safari, went back, checked "Open 32 Bit" and reopened - and it worked!
ReplyDeleteHooray. Glad it worked. :)
ReplyDeleteIt worked! Thank you so much!!
ReplyDeleteThis just started happening to me - a quick Swagbucks search and I found your page. THANK YOU!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Marla! Glad it worked.
DeleteI had the same success as Justine! I'd had the "Open in 32 Bit" checked, unchecked it booted safari, quit safari, re-checked it and it works now. I haven't been able to print from my Mac in over a YEAR!!! I will be spreading the word.
ReplyDeleteI sure wish I could print with Firefox, but safari is better than nothing.
Valerie, I'm glad it worked for you. I had issues off and on with Chrome, too. I am able to print with both Chrome and Firefox, though - possibly a FF update would help? It is frustrating to have to use a different browser just to print.
ReplyDeleteI tried both suggestions but it still didn't work for me. My error is a little different. Could that be the reason?

Any suggestions?
Thank you!
